The surrounding area is a quiet, natural environment ideal for relaxation but also very close to all kinds of supplies shops, restaurants and various services.

The closest living area is the village of Gerani where you can find many traditional taverns, mini market, butcher and pharmacy. The city centre of Rethymno is only 8 km away. Close to the villa you will find several beaches that you should visit. The most popular one is the long sandy beach of Episkopi which is 5 km away with various organised spots with sun beds, taverns and beach bars or secluded quiet spots and the long sandy beach which lies in front of Rethymno city (8 km away).

The villa’s location is ideal for one more reason, it is only 1 km to the main national road, thus making excursions around Crete a very easy thing to do.
